Dunkin’ Munchkins

In collaboration with Dunkin’ and Artists Equity, we created a holiday campaign starring a colorful cast of characters and some delicious blobs. From storybook-inspired packaging to a children’s book and a delicious animated film, the team spent months weaving a cohesive holiday narrative across every touchpoint, to create something truly delightful.

I served as an illustrator, munchkin creator, and blob consultant alongside Lead Designer, Cari Vander Yacht, and an incredible team of illustrators.

Packaging

Dunkin' produces nearly a billion units of cups and boxes each year, so we started with designing the holiday packaging as soon as we kicked off. We took advantage of each specific surface, transparent cups and little cottage-esque carry boxes, to create extra silly vignettes.

Storybook

Taking inspiration from our silly little blobs, we created a family of characters that would love and cherish our precious Munchkins.

Film

But why stop there? We created a 3D animated film (narrated by Mindy Kaling) exploring the love affair between Munchkin and man.
